It has been around four months and America is still caught up in the Ferguson case. About four months ago, a white male police officer, Darren Wilson, killed an eighteen year old black male, Michael Brown, in the middle of a St. Louis suburb street. This event started many riots and robberies by African American who claimed inequality between the blacks and the whites still existed and the shooting was because of Wilson's of racism towards blacks. The jury was supposed to come together on Friday and reach their final decision of whether or not Wilson was to be found guilty, but the jury was not able to make a decision. The more they postpone their decision-making, the angrier people would get and start protesting or rioting. Many people believe that Wilson will not be indicted and the continuous postponements of the jury were to make a positive spin. When the jury makes their final decision is not guaranteed, although they scheduled to reconvene on Monday.
The claim that Wilson shot Brown solely for his skin color, makes this hard to believe. There must be more to the case, rather than just the fact that Brown was black. There must have been some other reason that Wilson killed Brown. Perhaps Brown charged at him when Wilson arrested him. Maybe Brown threatened him when Wilson tried to arrest him. Anything could have been possible. Especially nowadays, and especially in America, people are not killed because of their skin color. People must sin to be punished.

  1. Astonishing job Angel! What has happened regarding the Ferguson situation is just cruel and terrible. These malicious acts that the police have been doing lately are not only unjust, but illegal. No race should go through that type of mistreatment, we are all equal! It was an exceptional blog post you wrote Angel, wonderful job!

  2. It is sadly true that there is no full equality between the whites and African Americans. They had every right to go out and cause ruckus, because taking it to court or bringing in higher power for help did not change anything. Angel, with your unique style of writing I understood your post completely. Awesome job.

  3. Wonderful job Angel. I think that what happened in Ferguson is very unfair and morally wrong. It hurts me deeply to hear or see that the oldest, most close-minded mentalities still exist to this day, such as racism; especially the segregation between whites and African Americans. I believe that the families or friends of Michael Brown had EVERY right to go out there and protest against such injustices.
